So what do you get when a former Miss Rodeo America marries a Wyoming Cowboy?
Three vibrant little boys with the western names of Steehl, Cinch and Slack.... and an exquisite, rustic brand created with the passion of the west and the artistry of this Wyoming working ranch couple!
Jade and Selena Pope happily live in the tiny town of Cokeville, Wyoming, population 530. Their greatest joy comes from raising their three boys in this rural area where they rope, ride and wrangle together. Jade works on the Pope Ranch, owned by his father, Evan Pope. The Pope Rawhide Ranch can boast being home to Wyoming's oldest registered brand, The Shield!
Jade is also a cardholding member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. He enjoys team roping and steer wrestling, but his favorite event is tie-down roping. Selena enjoys academia and, through the scholarships she was awarded by being crowned Miss Rodeo America 2005, she has completed a Bachelors Degree and two Masters Degrees in Chemistry and Biology. She taught secondary science for five years, but recently decided to join Jade in working on the family ranch, which has proven to be one of her best life decisions yet!
Jade and Selena share a passion for the western way of life they live. They believe they have a duty to share it with the world. There are true working cowboys, but there is also a unique breed of people who are cowboys at heart sharing in the love and values that have roots in the rural ranches that dot the nation.
